What a tour looks like
The room your child would join
You see the actual classroom, the materials on the shelves and the outdoor space, during an ordinary part of the day. Watch how children move between activities and how the room is set up for them. This is the room your child would join.
The teachers
Meet the teacher who runs the room and the director, Patricia Baxter-Johnson. Ask how a day runs and how they handle the first weeks. You will hear directly from the people who would care for your child.
Your questions
Hours, meals, pickups, tuition: ask them all. If we do not know an answer on the spot, we follow up. Bring your list and leave with clear next steps.
Before you come
Bring your child. A tour works best when they can see the room and meet the teacher. The academic building is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We serve ages K2 to K5. Call ahead if you plan to visit during a holiday closing or inclement weather.
Ask about hours and pickup, meals and rest, how the first weeks are handled, and how parents hear about the day. Ask what happens when a child is unwell. Kindergarten and preschool program hours are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with extended care options. If we do not know an answer, we follow up.
