Children here are seen as growing in every way at once — socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. This is a Christian education, rounded rather than narrow. Morris and Lilly Baxter founded the school in 1990, and it has held to that purpose for over thirty years.

Rooms for young children are set up so they can reach things themselves: low shelves, labeled bins, open floor space for building. The day moves in steady blocks — group time, play, meals, rest — because children relax when they know what comes next. Teachers sit at eye level and talk with children, not over them.

A visitor walking through watches teachers kneel down to answer a child, and hears conversation rather than commands. Work goes up on the walls at child height, so children can find their own drawing and tell you about it. The building carries the school's Christian character in how people speak to one another.

Mornings start early if you need them to. The building opens at 7:00 AM, and Morning Extended Care runs from 7:00 to 8:30 for families who drop off before the preschool and kindergarten day begins at 8:30. Children settle into a familiar room, put their bag away, and join what's already underway.

The middle of the day mixes active and quiet. Children play in small groups, work at tables with a teacher nearby, eat together, and rest. There is time outdoors when weather allows. Preschool and kindergarten hours run 8:30 to 3:30, so most of the learning happens inside that stretch.

Afternoon Extended Care runs 3:30 to 5:30 for families who need it, with quieter play as the day slows down. At pickup, a teacher can tell you what your child did, what they ate, and how they rested. The building closes at 5:30. Please ask the front desk about sign-out.
